The Elk Theatre is a historic one-screen movie theatre established in the 1930s and built in the art-deco style. It maintains many of its original features and is being restored to its original splendor. Our theatre is a cultural landmark in the community and offers a unique movie-going experience. In addition to feature films, our theatre is proud to host numerous community events and has served as the home of the Elk River Music Festival and the West Virginia Filmmakers Festival. The theatre is available to rent for private showings, parties, weddings, and much more!
